Enhancing Capacity - OSRD is dedicated to build capacity within Indigenous individuals, communities, and institutions to engage in research that is relevant and beneficial to Indigenous community.

COVERAGE AREA: OSRD has the vision to work all over in Orissa in future. However now it concentrates in Bolangir and its nearby districts for operation.
SUPPORTING AGENCIES : OSRD is yet to get support from likeminded Government/ Non-government agencies. However it has tied up with Delhi base Socio-Economic Research and Development Organisation (SERDO) (www.serdo.org) for its programmes and working as the Orissa coordinator of the organisation.
